To you it may look like an ordinary stand mixer, lacking in size and power compared to the heavy duty model I use in Texas, but there is more to Le Robot than meets the eye. It has this plug:

Meaning that it is a 220 volt mixer made for use in Europe! This was a special, treat-myself item that I brought to Switzerland (in compliance with all customs laws, of course), because stand mixers are about three times more expensive here.
Its shortcomings aside, Le Robot and I will perform countless miracles together in our postage stamp size kitchen (which really isn't that tiny). Stay tuned...
